#8 Saint Thomas won the game 61-50

Mallory McDermott led the Western scoring with 11 points.  Emily Lutz had 10 points.

Western was 3 of 17 on three-point attempts while Saint Thomas was 10 of 26.

Western finishes the season with a record of 10-20.




In Friday's second game, #10 UMKC beat #7 Denver 66-65 on a miracle three-point shot at the buzzer.

No team in the Summit League right now can give AJ's squad a competitive game.  His only recourse to improve during the year would be to use some guys, not gals, about 6'3 or 6'4" to act as practice adversaries.
