I think that we got into some trouble when we added the Rocky head onto the globe during the Van Alstine era.

Is that 1927 Congressional Resolution which authorized use of the nickname framed and on display anywhere?
I am trying to find it but searching against the older stuff is a little laborious.

I'm pretty sure we can still use the true Marines logo (Eagle, Globe, Anchor) and Leatherneck name, but not the bastardization our marketing folks did with the Marines logo. That was DUMB. They protected the WIU stuff against even the little guys use and then did something so STUPID.
