If we were a P5 program, we woud have MLI, PIA, and even Macomb Municipal staked out.

Coaching searches used to operate under patience. It’s not me that’s losing sleep. It’s the players, as I have been told. Several contemplating transferring or at least testing the waters of the portal. Remember, for them it’s already been two weeks. They want to know they’re in good hands. 

 

The players know the timeframe of activities taking place this week and who’s involved in the process. All included are being provided information on each candidate prior to meetings. Things are moving as scheduled. 

First candidate is on campus today.

So I noticed our GA’s are on the road recruiting despite the fact we don’t have a coach

So it would seem like to me that the last candidate to come to campus would be the favorite as it would make things easier

I wouldn’t read too much into that theory. It would be more based on candidates driving in or needing to travel by air. Flying in as you know takes more scheduling.

I already heard from a source that a group of hiring committee members were having lunch together downtown. I do not know if one of the candidates was with them, but I would assume so. My source was unable to identify who the candidate might have been.

EDIT - ok, I think I know who it is...not going to say anything at this point so as not to interfere with the search process

Any idea how many finalists there are or how many are being brought in for on campus interviews.?

Anyone know how things went with the coach today if he was impressive
