No Illinois teams in the tournament

If you want to talk about Monmouth University Football, Quincy University Basketball, Notre Dame Men's Soccer, or whatever, this is the place.

In a couple of these, doesn't the school actually pay the tourney in order to participate? Rather cheapens the tourney. But, I guess you can always say you were in a post season.

Today's Peoria Journal-Star is reporting that South Dakota State coach Scott Nagy's name is being mentioned for the new coach at Bradley.

Bradley coach Geno Ford was fired after 4 seasons. Bradley was 9-24 this season. His four year total is 46-86.

Other names being mentioned for the Bradley job:
Mike Davis, head coach at Texas Southern
Dane Fife, assistant coach at Michigan State and former head coach at IPFW
Anthony Grant, recently fired by Alabama
Brian Wardle, head coach at UW-Green Bay

Anthony Grant had rock star status at VCU where basketball was the only game in town. He did not have that luxury at Alabama. He could be a very good fit for Bradley.
Embrace the pace of the race.
