Western finishes with an overall record of 16-34 and 5-22 in the OVC (last place).
The top 8 teams will play in the OVC Tournament which starts May 8 in Peoria.
Western and Morehead State will not be playing in the conference tournament.

The 2024 OVC Softball Championship was held May 8-11 at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Illinois. It marked the first time the event has been held at the venue and will be the 30th all-time OVC Softball Championship.
#2 seed Southeast Missouri claimed the 2024 crown, knocking off #1 seed Eastern Illinois 4-2. It was the seventh overall Tournament title for the Redhawks (1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2019, 2024).

Well you think Goler would have been let go by now, or is he doing exit interviews and such. Otherwise I don't know why he hasn't pulled the trigger.
They could claim the increase in wins this season compared to the last couple years and them being relatively young as reason to keep her . Not sure her contract situation either.
