Most famous person (past, present, or future) to visit campus?

Miscellaneous discussions. Things that don't have anything to do with Western, Leatherneck Athletics, college sports in general, etc.

My pick was a student at Eureka College at the time and likely shook hands with "Rock" on the gridiron during the 1928-1931 seasons.  BTW, the movie out now about my pick is pretty good.  Not a single person in the theater could leave their seat until all the credits (and there were many) were done showing.

A couple of possibilities...Bob Hope or Muhammed Ali.

It would certainly have to be Amelia Earhart.

She visited Western in 1936.  Earhart was invited to campus by President Morgan to speak at the weekly assembly.

She is pictured with Mabel Corbin (left), the namesake of Corbin Hall.
