Tennessee Tech's Record: The Golden Eagles are 2-4 overall this season and 2-1 in the conference. TTU then hosted non-conference South Carolina State, beating them 22-20, and went on the road for a 34-3 loss at Southeast Missouri State.

History: WIU has played the Golden Eagles twice, winning 41-14 on the road in 2017, then losing back home 38-24 in 2019. That 2017 game was the one where Khalen Saunders went in as a FB and scored his first collegiate offensive TD: https://goleathernecks.com/news/2017/8/ ... g-win.aspx

Local-ish Players on UTM's Roster: Predictions: Massey Ratings says we have a 34% chance of winning this game, with a predicted score of 34-27: https://masseyratings.com/game.php?gid=940319175
Those are much better odds than the last game and if we play like we did against Charleston Southern, should be able to come away with a victory. Can't go spotting them 14 points early like we did against ILSU or UTM though.

For people looking for something to eat before the game, go to the annual AGR Smokin' Hog.

The move to the OVC was a godsend.  Much more parity than the Valley/Summit.

Most complete Necks game I’ve watched in 7-8 years. Probably since Fisher era. DL Riven & Brunner looked legit + Crandall at outside backer was all over the field. Offense was back on track & seems to be one of the better units in the OVC.

ESPN+ broadcast was pretty sharp too although D&D showed up inconsistently or wrong sometimes.
They should just have BJ & Doc do the ESPN audio.

Hope he’s okay. Would be a big loss.
