Every time we get into one of these scoring funks, I think back about the Margenthaler teams when I was on campus.  Not every game, but there were several I remember looking up at scoreboard at 15 minute mark, and Lilly, Banks, and the boys already had 25 on the board.  And that was before the 3 point shot came into the game.  Jack made an emphasis to come out with great energy early in the game.  That, and sink your FTs when given the opportunity.

Wow, such a different game then Thursday night. Only putting 19 points on the board in the 1st half.

Shocked this Tennessee State team has only won 5 games based on the really aggressive they are defensively.

I think it is a safe assumption to say we do not match up well with teams having an abundance of length and breadth.

The simple fact is we’ve taken a step back this year hopefully the staff puts an emphasis on getting a couple bigs who can play next year. Also we should never throw another bounce pass we don’t have anyone who can catch them.

No season ever works out to 100% perfection. However, I do feel the team is getting better with experience. Hot or cold, is a good recipe to make a tourney run. But, consistency and higher percentage shots are likely needed to make a real run.
