It's nice that we have a win streak going again, but yeah...there's a number of games that they probably should have won if they'd been playing like they did this week.leatherneckcountry wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 4:08 pm I don’t know if I should be excited or disappointed in the last 2 games
We're currently 4-12 in the conference, tied for last with Southern Indiana, with 4 games left. The best we can finish if we win out (tall order, I know) is 8-12.
There are three teams that are currently 8-8: UT Martin, TN Tech, and Lindenwood. It's not possible for all the 8-8 teams to lose the rest of their games. TN Tech plays both UT Martin and Lindenwood in the final four games.
Head to head if we win out, we went 0-2 against UT Martin, we would end up 1-1 against Lindenwood, and would have ended up 2-0 against TN Tech.
So, if we somehow win out and TN Tech loses out...we should just sneak into the OVC Tournament ahead of them. We can't overtake UT Martin, and Lindenwood falls to further tiebreaker scenarios that make it difficult to figure out at this point.

It’s frustrating because this is the team we thought we were getting at the beginning of the year and by all looks if it were not even going to make the tournamentST_Lawson wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:26 pmIt's nice that we have a win streak going again, but yeah...there's a number of games that they probably should have won if they'd been playing like they did this week.leatherneckcountry wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 4:08 pm I don’t know if I should be excited or disappointed in the last 2 games
