The current on-campus headcount enrollment at Western is 2,262 in Macomb and 271 in the Quad Cities. Total = 2,533.

The spring semester enrollment number of 5,107 includes students who take some on-line courses as well as in-person courses.

The 2,533 figure is based on students who are attending only in-person classes.

The university is considering moving to a two-college model:
College of Humanities, Arts, Science, and Education
College of Health and Community Professions

The two-college model would result in a reduction of Deans from seven down to two.

Just to be clear, that 2200 number is for students who are ONLY taking in-person classes. Almost nobody does that anymore. After COVID hit and all classes went online, some professors/departments realized that it worked better for some types of classes, so they just stuck with them being online. The majority of students that I know take some classes in-person and a couple of classes online. They would not be included in that 2200, but they're still living on campus or in town, walking around campus, eating at BWW and shopping at Walmart, etc.

Yup, there are definitely hybrid classes where a teacher and some students are in one place and some students are in another place. Sometimes the other place is on the QC campus, and sometimes it's wherever the student is located.
