Mr. Joe Creed, Western Illinois Alumnus. Is it fair to say he reached his potential?
His time at Western was when the St. Louis Rams were here and Western was a rising star.
So many things have changed in this world. I scarcely recognize it from my youth
Western will re-claim it's rightful glory with Mr. Joe Creed as ambassador and cheif. Along with Mr. Joe Davis that has created an upswelling of enthusiasm and confidence not seen in nearly a decade.... WIth College football more prevalent than ever before in society at large, Western Illinois has Intrinsic advantages. With nearly 50 football players reaching NFL status and it's distinction of being the only non Military school to have permission from our proud United States Marine Corps to use the Leatherneck name. In addition to that distinction is it's nearly decade long affiliation with the NFL(St. Louis Rams Summer HQ). WESTERN stands with TN State well above lifetime achievement standards of any current member of the OVC.
Joe Creed is the standard bearer that exemplifies excellence in education but throughout life demonstrated percerveirance through trials and tribulations ( yes I'm old). Thank you Mr. Joe Creed for making this one Western Illinois University Alumnus very proud.
CATERPILLAR is not some unknown entity or foreign quantity. Being Part of the extremely exclusive DOWJONES INDUSTRIAL AVG. The World pays attention (at least those interested in money). I don't pretend to know Joe Creed personally. What I will say is a rising tide lifts all boats. Joe Creed has elevated the Western Illinois University!
