So what are we expecting to see tonight? The chances of winning are minimal so, is it basically get out of here with no injuries would that be considered a win. Would a 40-50 point blowout be disappointing? I have no idea what to expect, just anxious to see them play.

I’m not really focusing on the defense tonight. If we can put up 17-24 points against #11 Illinois, before garbage time, I’ll be stoked.

A win for me is D allowing less than 50pts, O scoring 10 and the team getting out of Champaign with no injuries.

I understand that when you're playing a FBS team, you're also playing against the refs, but the announcers agreed that was absolutely not a fumble.

JFC! Everybody knows Illinois is going to win, clear as day the ball is moving forward in QBs hand. These refs want to make sure Illinois covers the spread.

Anyone know what the E.C.I. on the backs of our helmets stands for?

This is harsh, Leathernecks were high on themselves vs scout team.

Of course Illinois is the better team, however, Joe Davis's 'Necks were not ready for this test.

Heading into the game, I thought a  win would be a balanced offensive attack yardage wise.  Did not get close to that stat.
Embrace the pace of the race.

I wasn't expecting us to lost by heck two scores, but hopefully can be more competitive next week at Northwestern.

It was great to see us on national TV on a friday night.
