Also how is there no box score on the website by now????? I had to go to TSU's to check it out.
Looks like those 2 INTs was the difference. Otherwise the stats were largely in Tennessee State's favor.Wiufan87 wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 5:41 pm Great hard fought win today. Defense bailed us out with sacks, tfls and interceptions. At home for 2 of last three.
Was able to watch game on ESPN+. Most likely the best defensive performance of this regime although TSU offense has been dismal all year we took advantage. Edwards (2sacks), Keith (last int), Bonner, Miller, Kongolo, Nicolas and Buckner all freshman making a big impact on the defense. Bright future if we can keep ‘em!
Offense looks decimated by injury. Where was Anaya (leading WR in OVC/BS)? Looks like we only have 1 RB that plays. OL was overmatched. Didn’t look like offense that has been moving the ball well around a freshman QB. Lots of dropped passes and tipped balls with no running game.
This is the same offensive staff that called plays for #1 offense in OVC/BS last year so I don’t believe we have a play call issue but rather personnel shortages. PPS mentions here…https://prairiestatepigskin.com/2025/10 ... ng-streak/

Glad we pulled that one out and happy for the team to get the win. Was honestly waiting for and expecting the loss.
Tough sledding on offense without (Anaya-broken collarbone) and Davis not 100%.
Hopefully we get healthier over the bye week and finish strong. Sucks we're now building for the future, but no guarantees any of these players with potential stay. Certainly hope so, but who knows.
