Kind of hard to figure out when they are using last year's stats and we have completely revamped. I don't mind being the underdog, but this year's team is not last year's team.

Goodness....beginning to have mixed feelings.

Is there literally no consistency on offense?

When you’re cold it is contagious. Small Shooting guards with awful Shooting nights need to be restrained from losing games by themselves.

Cal Baptist wins 69-59

Antwaun Massey was Western's lead scorer with 29 points.

Attendance at Cal Baptist = 5,088

Next game will be the home opener on Monday (Nov 17) vs Coe College.  It will be the 2nd game of a Women's / Men's double-header.  The Women will be playing Chicago State at 5:00 PM on Monday in the 1st game.

Massey had a great game 29 the rest of team no.  I thought Lorenzen looked challenged.  Why schedule first four games on road start season 0 for 4 dig a big hole right away.

I did not see the game last night but I did see the first one.  We were noticeably "out-quicked" in that one.  We were out-rebounded big (50-29) last night which probably means we were "out-physicaled" in this one as our FG% was much better (42-34) .  Not quick and not physical not good in D1 basketball.  Hopefully we match up much better with the OVC teams.

I thnk Coach said this schedule was less than ideal, but they were all buy games, I think Chad is trying to help the athletic dept out by taking these games and helping out the budget, plus I think he thought this team is better than last year's team and wanted to see what he had by challenging them with these games. I was hoping they could win one of these California games.

$$$ and because the OOC schedule doesn’t really matter beyond getting the team ready for the conference schedule.

Don't we pay Coe College and other NAIAs, D3s, to show up at our place or am I wrong on that?  Granted, if we do pay them, it would probably be considerably less than what we got going out west.
