Drake hitting on all cylinders during the 1st half.  We actually look decent against them but everything seems to be going in, especially from deep.

Nobody in Valley beating Drake if they shoot like that.  Was it bad defense?  Maybe a little.  But they were getting shots up before the defense even got set in many cases.

Lucas Lorenzen led the Western scoring with 21 points.

Western shot 37% (20 of 54).  Drake shot 70% (39 of 56).

Drake was 19 of 30 (63%) on Three Pointers while Western was 4 of 20 (20%).

Big risk in alternating D1 games and lower level games in schedule IMO.  But you have to play someone I guess.

Boy did we get smoked by Drake I didn't think they were that good.  Hannibal Lagrange looks good should get a win.  Go WIU.
