2025->2026 transfer portal

Started a thread for any players transferring out or any we get in the portal. With that being said I see Markell Holman has announced he is entering the portal. This doesn't surprise, he had a good season and is probably looking to move up and get some NIL money.

Where do you get the insights on these? I didn't know they would announce this early since the portal isn't until January now.

Assumed this one would happen.

Hopefully things work out better than they did for Cam Smith. Doubt he got any money and ended up with under 300 total yards and no TDs for a top 10 worst team in FBS.

I understand this is the era and hope Holman gets paid and finds a solid opportunity, but don't just go FBS to say you're FBS.

I've already seen 10+ guys mention on X they're leaving. He and Montgomery are the ones who made a difference this year. I'm sure we'll see plenty more.

Mostly walk-ons it looks like or guys that didn't play many snaps. The names I've seen announce portal intentions via X that were impactful in '25 would be:

OL Montgomery
RB Holman
DL P. Miller
K Chadha

It looks like we are getting commitments from players who are transferring from lower division levels
I'll add some players that committed to WIU from the portal, like I said are players from lower levels - Also I am adding players transferring out in the first post on this thread if interested.

Anthony Stribling DL from Seton Hill (PA) had 10-1/2 sacks this past season

ST, you might want to rename this thread to 2025-26. Also, I am not sure of the validity of the link but they do appear to be players on our 2025 roster.

I've renamed the title of the thread. Not sure if it will propagate through the thread, but it should show up with 2025->2026 now.
Generally FCS transfer stuff is a bit harder to track, but I seem to remember that site being about the best option out there unless you want to monitor twitter on an hourly basis to track things yourself.
