That non-conf home schedule is very weak.  Someone needs to lobby our elected officials to mandate that the state public universities must play each other home and home every year.  You dont need to play them all every year but a couple each year is certainly doable.

playing 4 non D1 schools in a season is a crime in and of itself, just like going to a weaker conference in football and then starting to schedule non D1 colleges. Might as well drop down to D2 as our leadership is acting as if we are already in D2

I saw that too, but I think it's just a glitch or something. I'm pretty sure the game is at Houston Christian.

It appears that we are playing Houston Christian University twice this season:
November 7 at Canton, IL -- according to the posted schedule

Spoon River College.  Home of the Crusaders.  Or is it Mudcats?  Or Snappers?  I looked at their men's BB roster.  If you did a geographical midpoint calculation of their players home towns,  it would be somewhere far out in the Atlantic.   What's going on?  We don't raise midwest farm boys with a little height these days.

Let's keep pushing for a game or two in the Quad Cities.

Spoon River College is the home of the Snappers.
