It seems to me that this would apply to a lot more than 90 athletes.  Or did you have to be a party of the lawsuit to benefit from the ruling?

Probably anyone it applied to could join, but not everyone wanted to. Some had probably already started jobs/careers that they didn't want to leave...some might have pro contracts with various leagues/teams that they didn't want to try to get out of...some might have already decided they were done with competitive sports due to frequent injuries or whatever. I'd imagine the 90ish people were the few who decided they really wanted another season to play and didn't have any other commitments they couldn't get out of.

I saw Mia about a month ago and she looked like she was in basketball gear so I didn't know if she was trying to get an extra year or was going to be a ga or what.
