So, it looks like there's going to be a lot of purple and white in the stadium that day ;)

I changed my mind about going to this one UNLESS someone can organize a Leatherneck "Party Bus" to parade up and down the streets of Urbana before the game and then I will be there for sure. IMO, "White Outs" are lame if half the stadium is empty which is the likely to be the case.
Embrace the pace of the race.

These "White Out" games have minimal chances for a successful outcome when "White" is not part of the school's official colors. For example, UIUC colors are Orange & Blue. I am guessing that there are not that many white shirts available in their bookstore.

The crowd for this early morning 11AM game will probably only fill up half of the stadium.

Illinois (team) has the option to wear Blue, Orange or White tops since they're the home team... if they let our Leathernecks where the traditional white since we're the road team, I say let the crowd wear as much white as they want... sprinkle in our Purple, and we're good to go!

That's what I was thinking....a lot of Illinois people in white, Western people in purple...it's going to look like a very Leatherneck-friendly crowd.
