Only WIU Player in NBA history not in WIU Hall of Fame

Googling WIU hoopsters who have played in the NBA only returned one result for one season----Alfonse Klaud Miksis, who was described below.

College: Western Illinois University
NBA Debut: November 2, 1949

The guy had to be a pretty good college player, no? So then why is he not in the WIU Hall of Fame. Seems a little incongruous. Anybody know anything about Al or anyone that the Google machine might not have caught that played in the NBA and came out of little old Western Illinois University?

Excellent find Swish. Appears he played alongside a very well-known guy named Johnny Orr who is also no longer with us.

Short pro career for Miksis. Maybe someone can dig up those college stats.

BTW, for some strange reason, I always thought Waterloo, Ia was on the Mississippi River. Got it straight today thanks to you and Wiki.
