For example...Freshman RB Steve McShane was born 9/25/1996. At that point I had performed at 2 home games and Western was 4-0 including a 17-0 win at Northern Illinois (that we had traveled to). It was a bye week. It was also the first year in a stretch of 4 out of 5 years that we made the playoffs.
This week in "I'm old" realizations...
Had an "I'm old" realization yesterday while I was out running (and yes, I realize that plenty of you have years, if not decades, on me). As of this year, there are now football players getting significant playing time that were not alive when I first marched onto Hanson Field as a Marching Leatherneck.

Welcome to the realization Scott. In teaching, you really notice it when you are teaching your students' children, and even more so when you are teaching their grandchildren.

SURVIVOR: Gen X vs Millennials starts today and "Gen X" is the "old" tribe. WTF?
