One of big differences in mid-major vs big time basketball: most mid-major players try to speed up their game by over-dribbling the ball. The good teams do it by passing the ball quickly around perimeter.

I really like McCaffrey's scheme. He will throw the book at you. Mixes up zone and man defenses. Did not matter what he did tonight. Just too good.

Hopefully this serves as a good wake up call on how to play with more energy and a sense of urgency. Lazy defense and lazy passing will get you exposed very quickly against a good team like this. Off shooting nights will happen, but combine that with less than full efforts in other aspects of the game and everything goes downhill very quickly.
