Does anyone know any of the contract details? Someone may have already said this, but I have been away from the site for week and did not feel like sifting through the what seems like 100's of new posts.

Maybe I'm too easily impressed, but I really liked the things he had to say.

I especially liked his bringing in football alumni, and the people of Macomb. Say what you will, we need their backing to help make this program all it can be.

I heard it's a 4 year contract that stair steps in salary...plus I'm sure there are other perks as well.

If I heard him correctly he said he was looking for a home to finish his coaching career as a head coach. That speaks volumes!

It was great! He wants us on campus, at practice and in the locker room sharing our experiences as a Leatherneck football player with the current players. Whether you played last year or 75 years ago...

It's all going to be ok...

Not many of Nielson's assistants had experience coaching at the higher levels and most would say they worked out alright.

Just hope we do not see many more players leave. It is nice to have a deep roster and as more players leave it makes it difficult to have capable backups.

Why, have you heard of any more players leaving? I just thought with Brett on the selection committee that there would be more faith in the process.

I've seen several tweets regarding hiring Fisher, and they seem to be positive.

I've only heard of 3...2 redshirt freshman that don't play and the one that went to U of I.
