Great to be back in a season ending poll. Keep the momentum going from last year. I really hope the new coaching staff is able to address some of the holes on last year's team.

Not in the current rankingsTere North wrote:Hee, hee, and where does our former coach sit

However, Nielson isn't a bad coach, he did turn us around from a team that won a total of 5 games in 2 years to a 7-6 overall team that went 1-1 in the playoffs...a year sooner than I thought he would.
I think he'll be able to get USD up to mid-level in the conference....bordering on playoff-worthy. I don't think they'll get up to the top, but they'll be decent.

So do we still owe Nielson his bonus for finishing in the top 25? Or since he's no longer under contract with us, is it all clear. Believe it was 5k.
I would assume not. If they essentially "tore up" the contract, then any items in the future should be null and void. Then again, I'm no lawyer.letsgonecks wrote:So do we still owe Nielson his bonus for finishing in the top 25? Or since he's no longer under contract with us, is it all clear. Believe it was 5k.
