I attended the game. I thought we looked worse than we usually do in exhibition games. Both the offense and the defense were pretty ugly. I think a part of that comes from Nicastro being on the floor a lot. I'm under the impression she hadn't been playing the center position in recent years. It seemed like the ball stopped when it hit her hands. Also, felt like she wasn't providing much backup under the hoop. I'm not trying to be cruel to her, she's obviously very talented and I expect this will all improve with time. I'm kind of just throwing a little water on the optimism I saw in the thread, because I was a little uneasy watching this one. Western didn't pull away until the third quarter.

Coverage sucks! No streaming the first two games, no Twitter updates, no box score from the first game. High schools have better coverage. Can we start acting like a D1 school so people who live far away can follow? We have too good of a program to not have coverage. What is happening????

Western beats Dubuque 90-43

Attendance at Western Hall = 245

The TSSR Sports crew was there (cameras and announcers).

The Pep Band and Dance Team were there.  The cheerleaders were not there.

There were programs for this game.
