They should be really good my concerns are post we don’t really seem to have much there. I’m also concerned about teams that bring a lot of pressure as we really didn’t handle pressure last year.
I'm too concerned about bigs to immediately assume we win the conference. Right now it looks like we have worse big depth than last year. I like Nichols and I think she can be even better coming into this season. But you need two. Unless that new transfer from STL is able to guard centers I'm concerned. That being said I still expect us to be pretty good. Maybe 13-5 in conference?

The bigs are always a question mark but I think they have more than in years past with Mia, Jasmine, and Katelyn. Not sure if they have others or not. Really just lost Dins and I think Mia will be better.

As mentioned in another thread, we're hosting Missouri on 11/15, which is awesome.
Interesting coincidence, we're hosting two teams from Dubuque (U of Dubuque and Clarke). The two schools are about a 15 minute walk (under a mile) apart. UD is a D3 school and Clarke is NAIA.
Also, it looks like they are doing the double-header schedule like they did last year. We don't have our men's schedule on our own website yet, but the OVC schedule was released a while back and it looks like the games match up.

I was wondering the same thing. No ESPN+ or even Twitter updatesleatherneckcountry wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2024 8:27 pm Anyone at the game just wondering how things look

Western won 78-49
Attendance at Western Hall = 569
There were TV cameras and announcers at the game.
There were no game programs.
Had to go to the McKendree site to find the stats:

Glad to see this. I was starting to worry that we lost since there was no coverage. Pretty sad a D2 away school that got manhandled has better coverage than a D1 home school. WIU is becoming a laughing stock and seems like just going to disappear one day
