I do know this. WIU was the better conditioned team on Thursday. I don't remember anyone going down with cramps in a game where EIU players were going down "right and left!" WIU's defense got better with each snap. The Neck's youth will truly be tested on Saturday but I think they will come out of the fray just fine. I hope TN forces the ball less and takes the yards he is given on the run or on the short pass. The middle sure seemed to be a place where LL and other WR can catch and run. You know Joey will have a catch or two long distant style. Would love to see some wide running plays too. O line is definitely bigger and stronger this year, and will only get better. This is the perfect "mystery" setup. I could not have designed it any better. The majority of the Illini board members are churping about a "blow out" of course. One Illini fan who graduated from EIU basically said that WIU's take aways were really EIU give aways. I guess this means he can't figure out how the final game score turned out. Here's hoping the same will be said after Saturday's game.
