Wonder if the $25 tickets kept some people away ??? Dayton had their tickets priced at $10.
The Illinois State fan message board is fearful that a potential semifinal game with North Dakota State would result in Bison fans taking over Hancock Stadium.
Their message board also mentioned the absence of many season-ticket holders as a factor in the 6,124 attendance number.

There could be about an even split in fans if the Bison make it to Normal but I dont foresee a Frisco-type takeover.wiu712 wrote:Wonder if the $25 tickets kept some people away ??? Dayton had their tickets priced at $10.

$25 is about the right price to keep the Bison from buying up a bundle of tickets and not showing up. $10 would not cut it.
Embrace the pace of the race.

That is me top left. I did what the Bison do. I stood the whole game. Only sit during breaks in the action. I was wondering if the ISU band coming over with "greetings" for our own band while game was going on was a secret ploy to distract us. You never know about such things in life.

I'm just out of the shot to the left...was playing with the band up near the top. Actually, it was kinda funny...some of the ISU band members came over and were talking to us and being friendly, then we'd cheer when Western would do something good, they'd start cheering too, then turn around a be like "oh...right...that's not us". They also had a nice present for the Western band director (bands are almost always very friendly with each other).sealhall74 wrote:wiu712 wrote:Photo of the Western fans:

My wife and I are two rows up and just to the right of the Hyvee sign. My wife is just above the lady in the light blue jacket, wearing a purple coat and I am just to her left. Funny, you get close and you can see my collar up! Seal, mew gotta at least touch base each time we are at games! I did get to shake ST's hand!
