Just saw that Mike Dashner, formerly the Video Coordinator for the University of Evansville, has accepted the position of Director of Basketball Operations. Dashner has also spent time at Clarke University in Dubuque, St. Norbert College in Wisconsin, Knox College in Galesburg, and UM-Duluth.

Is there a current director of basketball operations at WIU or is this a new position. And (sorry for my ignorance) what does a person in this position do?

Typically this person is charge of everything from meal set ups to hotel arrangements and study tables and things along those lines I know the guy who did it last year left not sure if they filled the role.
