Forgot to post this earlier with the bye week stuff and all.
Just 3 games going on in the MVFC this week.
Delaware at North Dakota State (ESPN+) - 35-0 NDSU at halftime (although NDSU was inches from getting another TD in the last second of the first half)
Illinois State at FBS Colorado State - 6-0 CSU with a couple minutes left in the 1st quarter
Hampton at Northern Iowa (ESPN3) - 4:00 PM
Other teams we've played and area teams:
#10 Penn State at Illinois - Game was Friday night, PSU won 63-24
Sacramento State at Montana - tied at 7 halfway through the first quarter
Northern Illinois at Florida State - just kicked off (as of ~2:30 PM)
Montana State at Portland State - 4:05 PM
#18 Wisconsin at Iowa (FOX) - 7:35 PM
2018 Week 4 - Around the MVFC (and other games of interest)

NDSU wins 38-10. They pretty much had all 2nd/3rd string in for the second half.

Not denying that ISU is good, but also, CSU is bad for an FBS team. Sagarin had them ranked 117th in DI, below Weber State, Eastern Washington, and South Dakota. If they were an FCS team, they'd be ranked somewhere around 20th. Not bad, but certainly not any better than most of the teams ISU faces every weekend in MVFC play.meganeck wrote: Sat Sep 22, 2018 5:27 pm ISU beat Colorado St 35-19 - Good for MVFC but must mean Illinois St is pretty good.
In case anyone hasn't noticed, Colorado State is our FBS game for next year. Hopefully they don't improve much and we can have a decent shot at a win out there.

In other news, UNI is destroying Hampton, 44-0 early in the 4th.
Also, Montana State is up on Portland State 43-23 at the start of the 4th.
Montana beat Sacramento State, 41-34
And in somewhat "regional" and interesting scores news...
DII Truman State beat technically FCS Valparaiso 34-20

This was Truman State's first win on the season. They are now 1-3. Valparaiso is now 0-3. Attendance at Valpo = 840.ST_Lawson wrote: Sat Sep 22, 2018 6:41 pmAnd in somewhat "regional" and interesting scores news...DII Truman State beat technically FCS Valparaiso 34-20.
