I for one am glad uniform shorts are getting shorter. Seems to be the case for both men and women. There for a while it looked like kids were playing in PJ bottoms.

Texas-El Paso won the game 84-72.

Taylor Higginbotham led the Western scoring with 24 points. Olivia Kauffman had 13. Elizabeth Lutz had 10.

Next game will be Friday at 4:30 PM vs Furman as part of the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic.

Western beat Furman 85-78 at the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. Western finishes the non-conference portion of the schedule with a 4-9 record.

Olivia Kaufmann led the Western scoring with 26 points. Avery Hamm had 18. Taylor Higginbotham had 16. Annabel Graettinger had 14.

Next game will at Western Hall on December 28 vs South Dakota State. This will be the second game of a Men's / Women's double-header.
