So, to kill time until Western's game, I've got ISUb/Youngstown on. I'll be the first to admit I'm not up to date on the nuances of football, but what has happened to tackling? I know we are sloppy at it, but it appears a lot of teams are. Have safety rules done away with traditional tackling? Everything seems to be arm tackles, around the waist tackles (and being dragged for yards when you can't get the ball carrier down), and the like? What happened to hitting low, ala wrestling takedowns?
Don’t know who all else saw this, but Illinois beat #7 Penn State in 9 OT.
