Not sure how many locals are paying attention, but Macomb varsity volleyball is currently 20-0 on the season. They haven’t lost a set yet this year. They are very skilled/deep team and had a big win this week against a very talented southeastern team. They play QND at the pit next Wednesday. Hopefully they can make a deep post-season run this year!

Most of their games have been on the TSSR Live channel on YouTube. So, even if you can't be there in person, you are able to watch. These young women are a lot of fun to watch - their growth over the years has been truly impressive. If you are at all interested, give them a watch!

Do they have any D1 talent on the team?

They have a couple OH that I think could make it D1. One being Kennedy Adair’s (WIU) sister and WIU women’s golf coach that just retired daughter. But the team is full of talent at every position. When they are rolling it is extremely fun to watch.

For anyone curious, the streak ended at 21 after losing to Quincy Notre Dame on 10/9.

MHS finished the regular season 30-4. They are seeded #2 in the "Riverton Sectional" portion of the Class 2A bracket and beat #8 Peoria Notre Dame in two sets (looks like IL HS does "best of 3" for their matches). They will play #3 Tremont this Thursday (10/31) at 6 PM in Farmington.

Last night's game was carried on TSSR Live on youtube, so you  might be able to catch Thursday's game on that channel as well.

Macomb was upset tonight by tremont in a regional championship game
