WIU will look to get back in the win column today against the RedHawks. SEMO is 5-7 on the season and 1-2 in conference play. They've lost to Tenn Tech and Tenn St and beat EIU on Thursday. SEMO leads the all-time series 10-9.
Senior Lexi McCully is the leading scorer for SEMO with 13.3ppg

Nicastro and Shetley on the bench with foul trouble midway 2nd qtr.   This likely another barnburner.

Down 3 29-26 at the half.  Helter Skelter on the court with all the turnovers and fouls going on.  We dont have much depth to deal with people in foul trouble.
Announcer throwing around overall stats today.  At this stage of season, overall stats are meaningless.  Conference stats are golden.

I can't believe the team is struggling this much without McCowan. Obviously she is very, very, good, but I thought the others could step up easier than they have. Not crazy about the officiating today - reminds me of the Lindenwood football game in 2024.

Tough hard fought win today on the road.  We might as well plan on tough games from here forward.  Thought Kaylen Reed had a good game and Mia can really shoot free throws.  WESTERN wins!

If our guards could hit some 3s now and then, Mia would be even better or at least get some easier looks at the bucket.
