If so, the Valley just got tougher as if it wasn't already tough enough.

Hooooo....leeeee....crap, that's huge.
Halloween next year...Bo Pelini on the Hanson Field sideline.
Think that's going to help their recruiting much?

The Pelini camp denies this rumor. This likely means he is waiting for his agent's counteroffer to be accepted by Tressel...

A smart guy in Bo's shoes would say pay me $1 and let Nebraska pay me the rest. He would then have YSU take the rest of his realistic negotiable salary dollars and give them to the best OC and DC those dollars can buy.

He's due 7.65 million from Nebraska, so doesn't matter what they're paying. Also means he doesn't have to wait for an FBS offer, not that he wouldn't take it, but he won't be offered by Mich and don't see OR St offering him. Why not go home for 2 years, basically work for Tressell, coach in the best FCS conference, have a team that can make the playoffs now, all while Nebraska is flipping the bill. Then get your next big contract at an FBS school.
Looking pretty good for both Bo and YSU. This should help them down the recruiting home stretch and open the D1 transfer door a little wider.
