The Peoria Journal-Star has Memphis as a 16-point favorite.

The game is at 7PM and can be seen via both ESPN3 and First Row Sports.

I am looking for a very inspired effort tonight from our guys. Why?

1) I saw they visited the National Civil Rights Museum yesterday and no one in my lifetime has been more inspiring than Martin Luther King.

2) They ate at Central BBQ where they let you order up extra "bark" on your plate and I am sure they loaded up on that stuff just for Rocky.

One more barometer game we can use for upcoming conference season. Oral Roberts fell to these guys by 15 a few days back.

This isn't the same ole Memphis.

If we play as hard as we did against Alabama state this game can be somewhat competitive

Slow start. Been here before. I saw these guys play last year in Orlando. Very impressive then but I think they lost a lot of talent off that team. Nichols is back and appears to have really beefed up this year.

Definitely a rebuilding Memphis team but wow they look good tonight. We are playing hard just not having much luck early. 26-8

They are very long. We really can't get any good looks from anywhere but 3pt land.

Sure is nice to watch a broadcast where they show highlights for both teams. IPFW and a few others need to learn this fact of modern life.

Memphis was ahead 41-14 at the half. Both teams scored 37 points in the second half to make a final score of 78-51.

Western shot 30.5% (18 for 59). Memphis shot 50% (31 for 62).

Western was 11 for 18 on free throws (61%).

ESPN named J.C. Fuller as Western's "Top Performer": 13 Pts, 4 Reb, 3 Ast.

Western is now 0-5 on the road. Overall record is 4-6.

Attendance at Memphis was 12,995.

I know that I will have the song "This Land is Your Land" stuck in my head now. It was played repeatedly during every timeout on ESPN3.
