Plans for tonight? Spend it at Western Hall!

It will be a Leatherneck Basketball double header:
Women's Basketball 5:30pm vs. UW-Milwaukee.
Men's Basketball 7:30pm vs. Anderson University (Indiana).

One ticket gets you into BOTH games!

Tonight's trivia question: What does Anderson University have in common with Western Illinois University?
Hint: It has something to do with football, not basketball.

Anybody know why Kendall and Tyson are not dressing tonight? I know Remy has concussion issues and Dalan tore his ACL prior to the season starting.

Kendall hasn't played all season. I think he is hurt and assume he is redshirting.

Both have hosted an NFL team summer camp. WIU hosted the St. Louis Rams several years back and Anderson hosted the Indy Colts as recently as last summer.

Point guard Justin Jordan for Anderson formerly played at IPFW. He was highly regarded out of high school and was recruited by Rick Majerus at Saint Louis. Spent one season at SLU before transferring to IPFW.

Jordan with the longest non-desperation jump shot in the history of Western Hall. LOL

We had a guy at Alexis by name of Dan Patterson, his dad was superintendent, who is the only person I have ever seen who could shoot a jump shot from half-court with his natural unforced jump shot motion. Strong as an ox. Went on to play ball at Knox. We had an inbounds from baseline play for him where he would catch the pass in mid-air air along the baseline, turn his body in the air and shoot that same smooth jump shot. Never seen that one anywhere but Alexis, IL.
