What game(s) do you plan to attend

For me, I would like to attend the South Dakota game, and likely the Youngstown game. ( yes, I want to see Pelini through a fit on the sideline). That would be worth the drive and price. ;)

Well, probably all of the home games, but they're pretty easy for me.
Otherwise, I plan on being at the Illinois game. I'd like to make it over to Illinois State and check out their new stadium, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen yet...depends on scheduling of family events.

EIU home opener, maybe sticking around for UofI the following weekend, CCU for sure, and NDSU if I can get ticket. Homecoming is iffy right now - sort of depends on how we do leading up to that game.

Be at the South Dakota game as the wife and I plan on doing the Fallen Soldier 5k that morning. Most likely the SDSU game for my b-day, but not 100%.

Still up in the air for the Illinois game. Went with a group to WIS last year and that was a blast, so trying to put something like that together again. Depending on how our LB's and DB's shape out, this could be a game we could steal a BIG10 victory on. Especially with them missing their only real threat last year in Mike Dudek. Out with a torn ACL until October at the soonest.

Well damn, I did not get a ticket to our NDSU game at Fargo in November  (they sold out all games in less than an hour). I have not given up yet, but unless we or they fall well short of expectations this year, I do not like my chances. Unless of course some Macombie Homie wants to do a good deed and put in a bid for me at that Purple and Gold Gala Auction coming up in a couple weeks. HINT HINT

Our schedule is very tough this year and getting tougher, if that is possible. CCU could very well be using their first game on the teal turf against us as an audition for the SunBelt VIPs.

Interesting that CCU is being considered for an FBS conference invite. I basically think the Sunbelt is the bottom of the barrel and that half of the time the MVFC is better.

CCU as a school has been around for what? 50 years? and their football program can't have been around for much longer than 10 years. CCU's basketball arena makes Western Hall look like U of I Assembly Hall.

Ok, I will concede that Their Football Program is ligit and formidable and that Brooks Stadium appears in pictures to be top notch.

I intend on making it to the ILLINOIS game. Ordered tickets through their Website two weeks ago.

Anybody have any idea on when I might expect for those tickets to arrive in the mail?

My guess would be later rather than sooner now that they have garnered that "Top Party School" in the country ranking. ;)

Western fans going to the Sept 12th game with UIUC should consider getting the ticket and meal package offered by the Alumni Association.
