David Brown, who was a finalist for the head coaching job is now the Defensive coordinator for Texas A&M-Kingsville. H's been at Fresno St, then Wyoming for a year before his current job.

Bill Culbit who removed himself for the running is the OC at Illinois. Not only would a W at IL be one of the biggest wins in program history, but could also put his job in jeopardy!!!!!!!!!!!

Cubit is now the head coach at Illinois now the Beckman was fired.

The Western football game at Illinois State on October 24 will be televised on Comcast Sports Net-Chicago.

Four Illinois State football games will be on Comcast this season.

August has not been a good month for UIUC.

Both their Chancellor and the #2 in command have been let-go.

Now their Head Football coach has been shown the door. There still maybe more fallout to come in their Athletics Dep't.

Compared to the problems at both UIUC and Eastern, Western is looking pretty darn good!

wiu712, don't mistake other's demise to meaning that Western is doing well. Unfortunately, our admin has yet to realize they have a problem and just love stuff like this that makes them feel like they are doing well.
