Just found out that they're doing the "Elementary Day" thing again this year (here's a thread about last year's: http://www.leathernecknation.net/forum/ ... ?f=9&t=411) for the November 24th game against SEMO.
Looks like last year's worked out well. You don't end up selling many tickets, but you do get a lot of people in the stands and hopefully a lot of new young Leatherneck fans. There were only two women's games last year that had over 1k people. The Elementary Day game on 11/25 (Tuesday before Thanksgiving...college students all home) had 1,443 listed and set the Western Hall attendance record for a women's basketball game. The other one over 1k was the last home game of the season (Senior Day)...it was game 1 of a women's/men's double-header against Denver (which the women won)...it was also the return of the Alumni Pep Band...and it drew 1,292 people.
So, you can probably expect another 1k+ excited and loud elementary kids in that stands that day.

Will the Alumni Pep Band be back to play at one of the games this season ??ST_Lawson wrote:The other one over 1k was the last home game of the season (Senior Day)...it was game 1 of a women's/men's double-header against Denver (which the women won)...it was also the return of the Alumni Pep Band...and it drew 1,292 people.
