The Division III championship game is also being played this weekend...this evening at 7:05 PM actually...in Salem, VA.

St. Thomas (Minnesota) vs Mount Union

To say Mount Union has been dominant would be an understatement. They've appeared in 19 championships in the last 22 years and won 11 of them. St. Thomas's success has been more recent, but they did make it the championship game in 2012. The last 10 championship games have either been Mount Union vs St. Thomas or Mount Union vs UW-Whitewater. UW-Whitewater was knocked out of the playoffs last weekend by Mount Union.

The above-mentioned NCAA Division III Championship game will be on ESPNU at 6PM (Central) Friday night.

49-35, Mount Union wins another one. Down early 14-0, they battled back and tied it up, making it an interesting game for a while. They eventually pulled away and won by a few scores.
