I thought I would make a thread on the coaching staff and see what stands out to people I Know we only know 3 assistants. We have HC fisher from all indications sounds like Doug Malone will serve as are OC then we have Jared Elliot and David Rocco who's roles are not yet known

AFCA National Convention down in San Antonio is coming us shortly. If he is going to it, he might be able to interview a warm body or two down there.
Embrace the pace of the race.

Sounds like he is, and he will be. I'd imagine we'll probably have a DC by the end of next week and they'll be working together to fill out the defensive staff.

Yes Coach Malone is the OC, Coach Elliott is the QB coach and Coach Rocco is the offensive OPS guy. They will need a RB coach and wide receivers coach plus the defensive side.

That's the plan...he realizes it is just as important as offense and defense unlike Nielson.

Probably wait, considering the conference starts on Sunday, and he's probably busy talking to recruits and potential coaches. Plus, as you said, the students aren't around.
