This week's MVFC First and Goal Podcast is an interview with former WIU HC Don Patterson.

I listened to it and seriously almost teared up a couple of times. He touches on the current coaching staff, stories about some of the players he coached, how he dealt with his cancer diagnosis, and even has a great story about when he first met WR Jaelon Acklin (hint...it wasn't in the last year or two). It's a seriously good listen for any football fan, but especially for those of us who are Leatherneck fans (and even more so for those of us who were fans when Coach P was our HC).

I highly recommend you take a listen.

Resurrecting an old thread to point out that Coach Don Patterson will be on the radio in Iowa City every Monday morning at 9 AM through the football season. Mostly talking about Big 10 football probably, but might get in a mention of WIU every now and then.
