This league is a jumbled mess with maybe the top 3 teams distancing themselves a bit.
I believe all 9 teams are eligible for the conference tournament this year so 1 team will be left out. Where does WIU fall in all of this???
1. ND St 4 - 1
2. Oral Bob 4 - 1
3. SD St 4 - 2
4. SD 3 - 2
5. IUPUI 3 - 2
6. Denver 2 - 3
7. WIU 2 - 4
8. IPFW 1 - 4
9. Omaha 1 - 5
Its a little nerve racking that pre season favorite is behind us and an Omaha team that has some talent is also behind us.
This team needs to take care of business in a few home games including Thursday to make sure they make the conf tournament first and foremost and then hope for that red hot Spark in the SL Tourney.
I guess I'll predict 5 - 11 and squeezing in at 7th or 8. We HAVE to win the next 2 because the last 8 games on the schedule are all pretty tough
Where Will We Finish???

Omaha is not eligible for tournament until 2016-17 season so we will get in somewhere, probably 6-8 seed. There are no softies on schedule so 8 is as likely as 6 IMO. Using that same reasoning, I guess we could finish a 5 seed but a lot of things have to fall in place for that to happen.

Nebraska-Omaha moved from NCAA Division II to Division I in the 2012–13 season. As part of the transition, they will not be eligible for the NCAA Tournament, NIT, or The Summit League Tournament until 2016. However, they may play in other post-season tournaments, like the CIT in which they participated in 2014.wiu2008 wrote:I believe that all 9 teams are eligible for the conference tournament this year.

The end of the game seemed to be within grasp, but no sense of urgency and fouling too late (less than 2 minutes left) seemed to bite them in the rear. The game was ours but unfortunately again didn't get to the line as much as we should have. I'm not a coach by any means but defense needs work and just general situational awareness needs to be better I.e. Who can foul, when, and who to foul. Simple things like this can really make a difference.
