What would Western Illinois's fans dream football FCS dream conference would be?
Here is my list
Eastern Illinois
Western Illinois
Southern Illinois
Illinois State
Northern iowa
Southeast Missouri State
Lindenwood
Indiana State

I personally like a 9-team football conference. Play everyone in the conference for 8 games, play 3 non-conference games (1 FBS away, 1 lower FCS or DII team at home, 1 FCS H&H series with another school in the region).
YSU would be ok as an addition to the above list...so would MO State, Murray State, UT Martin, or maybe Central Arkansas. Not all of them though...you end up having to skip too many teams.

i would probably choose UT Martin and Mo State out of that group Murray isn't very good when it comes to FB

I really, really, really, like the idea of a true "Midwestern Conference" like the one being talked about. It wouldn't be budget busting, and really great for rivalries.  All of these suggestions sound good to me.
