EIU is 1-2 this season, opening with a 21-14 win against Dayton, then losing 38-14 at Indiana State and 42-30 at home against #4 Illinois State. They were off last weekend.
Massey gives us a 55% chance of a win in this game, with a projected score of 34-31 for our Leathernecks: https://masseyratings.com/game.php?gid=1837097

I hope their prediction is correct (although a win of more than 3 points would be good); however I have the horrible feeling that this is too optimistic and once again we will s### the bed.

Anyone know who is in/out due to injury?

This was one of the games from last year that our AGR alum group thought was a bad loss.  EIU was not very good.  That and the Lindenwood game really were winnable games that may have gotten WIU to 6 wins.  Would seem to be one the 'Necks have to get!

I was at the Lindenwood game, and the officiating there was horrendous! We weren't just battling the opposing team, but the officials as well. We definitely need the EIU win this year - I hope defense and special teams kick into gear and offense moves the ball well!!!!

Maybe Coach Davis was tired when he did this most recent Q&A.  It did not instil me with confidence. I get the feeling we have some injury concerns, lack of depth. I also get the sense that Davis' optimism for the season has waned. I feel like, this week's game is make or break. My guess in the preseason, with all the new personnel  and so many areas unkown and untested was that with those two inevitable "soul crushing" B1G games to start us out it could derail us with injuries and lack of momentum/confidence. The loss at Eastern Washington is disappointing because this 2025 EWU team is less talented than they have had in years past.  I feel like a win this Saturday will catapult us to a 6-6 record. A loss I see a 3-9 finish.

Pretty quiet in here - hope it's not an indication of how the team feels. We need this win badly.

After last weeks loss to a bad team with a game against another bad team this week, coach should be happy he isn’t in the MVFC otherwise we’d be having another myers hendrickson season again
