So many young players had huge impacts on this game. Carswell, Buckner, Keith, Bonner, Sulsburger and Payne Miller were all on the field a ton. RB Holman looked like a beast. Coach mentioned not being able to get him going this year but they sure did yesterday, He dragged multiple LU tacklers along for big chunks of yardage. I thought after the early missed field goal and LU's 2 quick scores we were doomed.LU QB made a huge mistake on the endzone INT. They were leading and basically could have ran the clock down and kicked a FG to make it 8 points. Bad coaching and/or bad decision making. LU had some bone headed ST plays too. Some very questionable officiating at times as well.
Our WR's look small and slow. Night and day from last year. If not for #3 Davis making a couple plays here and there, Carswell really doesn't have any down the field threats. We're really missing a true pass rusher as well. Never any quick threats on the LU QB. LU has to be kicking themselves today.
Really liked Davis's post game interview on the filed gave all the credit to the players and staff.
Stadium and turf looks old and run down on TV.
