I see they made it to the conference tournament for the 1st time since 2019

Western has secured its place in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament for the first time in program history !!

The Ohio Valley Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 6–9 in Peoria.

#8 Western will play #5 Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday.  Game time is 12:30 PM.  The winner of that game will play #4 Lindenwood later that same afternoon at 5:30 PM.

All OVC Softball Tournament games will be on ESPN +

What a sad sentence

At the OVC Tournament, #5 Southeast Missouri State beat #8 Western 10-2.  The game was stopped in the 6th inning via the 8-Run Rule.

Western finishes the season with an overall record of 14-32 (9-17 in the OVC).
