We have one thing in common with USD this year and that is a new head coach. But Craig Smith has a luxury Billy does not and that is a total of 12 (yes 12) guys on his roster with either JR or SR playing status. That said, they have been up and down a lot this year just like us. This game won't be easy, but if we can keep their crowd sitting on their hands throughout and don't give them any opportunities to come with that "Howling Coyote" call across those very loud speakers, I think we have a chance. As usual, that means protecting the ball and playing tough aggressive defense to keep them from putting together any scoring runs.

Did you know this:
Until 2001, the Dakota Dome had an air-supported "bubble" roof.
Definitely worth the trip to see it if you get a chance. USD is adding on to the Dakota Dome in a huge way. I don't think I have ever seen offering "naming rights" on a facility taken as far as they are taking it - a mere $2K will get your name on an individual player's locker. But I have said many times and firmly believe that little things make a big difference in the long run.

Looks like Tate is out for the season with a wrist injury sustained in Sunday's game against NDSU: http://goleathernecks.com/news/2015/2/4 ... 54629.aspx

If it is heart or brain-related, could be out a lot longer than 3 months.WIU0812 wrote:Rollins has an undisclosed season ending illness?? That sounds not very good at all hope he is OK. I do not know many illnesses that can take a person out for 3 plus months.

USD prevails 75-61. Too much Bos and Larson. We have to find a way to get some occasional point production from the big guys. Occasional is the operative word.

Looks like the Jags moved out of the Jungle into the Desert (ed). I have seen more life at an AAU game.wiu712 wrote:Saturday's game on ESPN3 and First Row Sports:
