The Leathernecks head to the "Buckle of the Bible Belt" and the Mabee Center for tonight's 7pm CT Summit League matchup. Well, there is no "maybe" about it, the Leathernecks will need to buckle up Obi and the Golden Eagles on defense to have any chance in this one. I looked at the ORU board, they are not showing us much respect. I don't know about y'all, but I do believe in miracles.

Did you know this:

Oral Roberts University requires all undergraduate non-commuter students under the age of 25 to live on campus.

Thursday night's game at Oral Roberts will be on ESPN3.
The Peoria Journal-Star has Oral Roberts as a 12-point favorite.

I worked at a four year private liberal arts college for several years, and their policy was- and still is- any one 22 or under - unless a commuter- was required to live on campus in a residence hall. 25 seems high, but, there are reasons to encourage on campus living. At ORU, the culture they experience leads to this. Also, at many schools, residence on campus living brings in money that would otherwise be lost.

There are quite a few schools who wont even sell parking passes to students who are not a junior or senior which helps keep students on campus. I am not sure if it helps or hurts WIU more by being so free with these rules. Obviously this may change if they ever build an arena in Q lot they may have to enforce some type of limit to those who can park on campus.

Refs calling touch fouls. This one not pretty to watch.

Dalan with a highlighter. The more I see him, the more I think he has more upside than anyone we have.

I don't get these announcers saying Garrett is not a 3 point shooter. That is his forte. Unfortunately, he has to play out of character right now.

At the half, Western is down 36-25.

Good looking start to 2nd half for us. 64K question is will Sutton come back with the full court pressure he started with.

Final ORU 77 Western 67

We made it interesting in 2nd half by hitting some shots.
